'Beach Retreat' and 'Sea Shore'
We have 2 four bedroom cottages ,‘Beach Retreat’ and ‘Sea Shore’ ideally situated for a relaxing family holiday by the sea. The cottages are so close to the sand dunes and beach that you don’t have to find a place to park the car or even cross a road to get your feet wet!
The beach at Holywell is partly owned by the National Trust and has a lifeguard patrol during the summer months. A freshwater stream runs from Holywell village on the western side of the bay and offers shallower and safer water for younger children, (trying to dam the stream on a summer day can keep children of all ages occupied for hours!). Because of the short distance to the beach our cottages offer excellent access to the Cornish coastal footpath.
Holywell is situated between Perranporth and Crantock on the North Coast of Cornwall just 5 miles by road from Newquay and only 14 miles from the County city of Truro. accommodation in Holywell provides a central base for touring the rest of Cornwall.
The village has 2 seasonal shops and 2 pubs which serve food and real ale.
